Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2, 2026

Welcome! Auret & Jewel here. These terms set out how our website, content, products and services work, and what we each agree to. We’ve kept them as clear as we can, and if anything here raises a question, email us before you buy.

Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Essetino Connexions, a registered partnership in British Columbia, Canada, operating as Essetino Media (“Essetino Media,” “we,” “us” and “our”).

What these terms cover

These terms apply when you:

  • visit essetinomedia.com or our other sites, including createprofitablecontent.com and theprofitablechannel.com.
  • read our newsletter or download our free resources
  • buy a course, a strategy session or any other product or service from us

By using our sites or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Our services and your service agreement

We work with people in three ways, and each one is set up a little differently.

Ongoing and done-for-you services

Our done-for-you services, including YouTube Launchpad and YouTube Channel Management, are delivered under a separate signed service agreement. That agreement sets out the scope, deliverables, timelines, ownership of materials, and termination terms for your project. If it conflicts with these terms, the service agreement wins.

Services bought at checkout

Some services, such as the YouTube Strategy Session, are bought directly from a checkout page without a separate signed agreement. For these, the offer page and your order confirmation describe what’s included, and these terms cover the rest. You’ll book your session after payment.

Custom projects by quote

For one-off creative work we agree on by email or call, such as a YouTube banner, PDF design, graphics, website or course build, we’ll send you a quote or proposal first. It sets out the scope, price, timeline and number of revision rounds.

  • Your project starts once you approve the quote in writing and we receive payment.
  • Requests outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before we do the work.
  • Once you approve the final files, the project is complete, and later changes are quoted as new work.
  • We’ll wait for the content and feedback we need from you. If you’re unresponsive for 30 days, we may close the project, and any payment covers the work completed to that point.

Payment

  • All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
  • Work begins, and your kickoff call is scheduled, once your first payment is received.
  • Recurring payments are charged automatically on the same date each month.
  • If a payment fails, work pauses until it’s resolved, and we’ll contact you to sort it out.
  • Our newsletter subscriptions run through Substack, and Substack’s terms cover billing and cancellation for those.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to texts from Essetino Media, you may receive reminders for upcoming events you registered for.  appointment reminders, booking confirmations, service notifications, account alerts, and promotional offers]. Message frequency varies.

Some of our event sign-up pages give you the option to receive text messages from us. If you opt in, you’ll receive reminders and updates about events you’ve registered for and occasional offers. Message frequency varies by event. You’ll receive no more than 5 reminder texts leading up to each event you register for.

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Refunds

Services billed monthly. If your service agreement ends early, you’ll receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing month. We don’t refund earlier months in which services were provided. Your service agreement explains how and when either of us can end it.

One-time services. No refunds.

Courses and digital products. All sales final unless other terms are stated on the landing page from which you purchased from.

Strategy Session credit. If you buy YouTube Launchpad or YouTube Channel Management within 6 months of your YouTube Strategy Session, the US$695 you paid is credited toward it (unless an alternate arrangement is mutually agreed upon). This includes the session bundled in the Custom YouTube Strategy subscription. Launchpad buyers paying monthly have the credit split across the 3 payments.

Exceptions. Any exception to these refund terms must be approved in writing by Essetino Media.

Results and testimonials

We build YouTube channels as long-term business assets, and meaningful results take time. We don’t guarantee leads, sales, revenue, views, subscribers or any timeline. Results depend on your niche, audience, consistency, content, and how you follow through on recommendations, as well as on YouTube’s algorithm, which we have no control over.

The client results and testimonials we share are real examples of what’s possible. They aren’t promises of what you’ll achieve.

Our website, newsletter, videos and courses share education and our own opinions about YouTube and marketing. They aren’t legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Decisions you make based on our free content are your own.

Our content and how you can use it

Everything we create, including our website, newsletter, videos, courses, templates, worksheets and frameworks, belongs to Essetino Media and is protected by copyright. This includes our named frameworks: the Anti-Viral Strategy, the YouTube Authority Formula, The Profitable Channel and the Infinite Content System.

When you buy a course, template or other digital product, you get a personal licence to use it in your own business. You’re welcome to:

  • use what you learn to build and run your own channel
  • adapt our templates for your own content
  • share our materials with team members who work on your channel

Please don’t:

  • resell, republish or give away our materials
  • share your course login with anyone else
  • use our materials to teach or sell a competing course, program or service
  • present our frameworks as your own (whether implied or directly stated)

You’re welcome to quote or share our free content with credit and a link back to us.

If you’re a client, your service agreement sets out who owns your footage, finished videos and channel assets.

Third-party sites and platforms

Our sites link to platforms and websites we don’t own or control, including YouTube, Substack, Zoom, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Stripe and PayPal. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply. We’re not responsible for their content, availability or practices, so please review their policies before you use them.

YouTube in particular sets its own rules. We don’t control YouTube’s algorithm, policy changes, monetization decisions, copyright claims or account actions such as strikes or suspensions. We’ll always work within YouTube’s guidelines, and it’s up to channel owners to make sure what they publish follows them too.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Our sites and free content are provided “as is.” We work to keep them accurate and available, but we can’t promise they’ll always be error-free or online.
  • We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, lost revenue or business interruption, arising from your use of our sites, content, products or services.
  • If we’re ever found responsible for a loss, the most we’ll owe is the total you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened

Some responsibilities can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, and these terms don’t try to limit them.

Your responsibilities

You agree to cover any losses, costs or legal fees we incur because of your misuse of our sites or materials, your breach of these terms, or content you supply to us that infringes someone else’s rights. This includes footage, music or images you ask us to use.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, and it forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We’ll update these terms as our business changes and post the new “Last updated” date at the top. Changes apply from that date and don’t affect purchases you’ve already made. If we make a significant change that affects current clients, we’ll let you know directly.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a dispute comes up, let’s talk first. If we can’t resolve it together, we agree to try mediation with a mutually agreed mediator in British Columbia before going to court.

The rest of the agreement

These terms, our Privacy Policy, and any service agreement you sign with us make up the full agreement between us. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.
